Has ownership changed hands? I've ordered from Tadka easily 20 times or more in the last year, usually to satisfy my craving for 1 particular dish - Chicken Tikka Masala. It was the best Chicken Tikka Masala I'd had in a while, and every time I ordered it it was consistently good, except for the last 3 times. The last 3 times it has been fairly bland and not at all spicy (usually Medium gives me a good sweat. Today I ordered it Spicy and it's milder than a clove of garlic). what gives?

Best Indian food in NY City

Excellent food. Delivery is a bit slow, but if you eat in (note that there are only 4 tables), it's definitely the best Indian food you'll have in the city.

I always order that Saag paneer and it has always been consistent in the past. Today my order was definitely different - spicy, even though I asked for mild, greasy and not quite as 'creamy' in texture as the past. What happened?

consistently good indian food for midtown.

Food was good quality but order took 55 minutes to arrive rather than the 15-30 minutes advertised and was on the cold side. No excuse for that when the food is travelling 10 blocks and its 85' outside. They also delivered a garlic naan rather than a plain naan which was very disappointing.

The food is great and they really pile on the extras. Best take-out Indian food in Midtown East by far.

Being an avid curry fan I order from various Indian restaurants through my corporate account on seamless web. Tadka's curry by far is the worst I ever had only because it made me really sick. I don't think it supposed to taste that sour. Maybe its because they are not busy but whatever it is they need to fix it soon. Please post this message so others do not suffer the same fate.

The food was late and the sauce was runny, like a soup with chicken poured over rice. The taste was okay, but was a bit bland. We ordered for 4, and everyone said the same. Not impressed overall.

Tadka is awesome... but either dine in or take out. Delivery service was awful - took over one hour and the wrong order arrived.
